Technician Assignments

This report is a list of repair orders assigned to technicians for estimate or repair, or awaiting assignment (see Technicians, and Repair Orders/Invoices).

The report may be grouped by estimating technician or repair technician. It may be sorted by repair order number, date received, date estimate approved, date requested for, make and model, or repair status. And it may be filtered by estimating or repair technician (depending on the selected grouping), make, model, business location, and assigned repairs.

Report Option Fields

Description

Group By

Select whether to group the report by estimating technician, or by repair technician (the system default).

Technician

Enter or select the estimating or repair technician (depending on the selected grouping) for whom to generate the report or leave blank for all technicians.

Make

Enter or select the make for which to generate the report or leave blank for all makes.

Model

Enter or select the model for which to generate the report or leave blank for all models.

Bus. Location

Enter or select the business location for which to generate the report or leave blank for all business locations. This report option is not available in the Repair Lite and Repair Micro editions.

Sort by

Select the desired sort order, either by repair order number (the system default), by date received, by date estimate approved, by date requested for, by make and model, or by repair status.

Exclude Unassigned Repairs

Check this box if repairs that have not been assigned to a technician are to be excluded from the report, or uncheck this box (the system default) if repairs that have not been assigned to a technician are to be included on the report.

 

Repair orders that are not subcontracted to a third-party repair vendor, and that have a repair order or repair estimate repair status are included on the report (see Repair Order and Repair Estimate Statuses).

This report is available only for licensed users of version 2.2 and higher, and is not available in the Retail SQL and Retail editions.
