Section 8: Reports > Repair Reports

Serial Number Notice References

This report is a list of items received for repair with serial numbers that have an assigned serial number notice, either for the main repair item or for one of its accessories (see Serial Number Notices, and Repair Orders/Invoices).

The report may be sorted by repair order number, make, serial number, or serial number notice category. And it may be filtered by make, serial number notice category, and business location.

Repair orders with a main serial number or an accessory serial number that is either an exact match to a serial number notice or that falls within a serial number range of a serial number notice will be included on the report. If a make is entered on the serial number notice then the main make or accessory make on the repair order must match exactly for the repair order to be included on the report. And if serial numbers are configured to be unique by both make and model then if a model is entered on the serial number notice then the main model or accessory model on the repair order must match exactly for the repair order to be included on the report (see module option “Serial Numbers are unique by” under Repair Order Module Options).
