Installing Microsoft SQL Server Express
If you are installing the Repair SQL or Retail SQL edition to work with Microsoft SQL Server databases then you will need to install Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later (desktop, express, or server edition) on one of the network servers or workstations. You may download and install the latest version of Microsoft SQL Server Express from the Microsoft web site at www.microsoft.com/sqlserver. A separate license must be purchased for the full Microsoft SQL server edition.
